Ive played 30 ish on Two Crowns and winter is the main thing putting me off playing. I played several hundred hours of New lands. What should I do? Is it best to first build the kingdom into a brilliantly defended fortress with four max walls, ballistas, and hundreds of archers? Those things take time, and winter is approaching. In new lands you just leave the island before winter and the season resets. All development proposals must demonstrate how the winter design. You dont need stone on Island 1 in order to progress because there are no portals between you and the dock.
WINTER KINGDOM NEW LANDS UPGRADE
However, note that the stone upgrade never appears on island one in New Lands. Now if you left and returned to the same island later, it's no longer winter.
There is no end to winter, you must simply leave the island. In new lands, once winter arrives, it will not leave until you do.
WINTER KINGDOM NEW LANDS FULL
I literally ended a recent game with the ship built and out by the third portal, full of (4) archers, and the sun darkened as the final massive retaliation wave wiped me out. Winter is different between New Lands and Two Crowns. but then by the time the second or third portal is destroyed, a massive wave comes out and destroys everything and takes my crown. Winter is her land, her kingdom, and now she is only one of the few left. If they aren’t attacked, the archers aboard the ship will use the ship as a floating castle and attack the portal. Winters in New York at the turn of the century were not what they are today. If I build the ship and then just pay for it to be taken to dock, my builders are usually attacked by the time they reach a portal. It is a sequel with the same striking art style, audio prompts, and combat.
I am on the third island and I can’t figure out the best strategy for leaving. Even from the little I've played so far, it's clear Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom builds on just about all of this.
